We have to be honest, we’d never heard of MSC Cruises until they invited us to Miami a couple of weeks ago for the MSC Seashore’s inaugural voyage out of Miami.
The ship is gorgeous and the private Ocean Cay Marine Reserve is spectacular (especially at night when it turns into the biggest seaside dance party this side of a gay cruise). Plus, we had the added perk of getting to see Sophia Loren live and in-person to dedicate the ship. (She’s the godmother of every ship in the cruise line, which is wildly popular in Europe).
It was a quick two-day journey, but we packed a lot of fun and adventure into a short 48 hours. So we know you’ll find plenty to do if you decide to take one of the incredibly affordable voyages. (3-4 day cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean start at only $129 per person!)
It’s a very kid-friendly cruise line, so if you have children there’s a lot dedicated to them. (If you aren’t into kids, take that into consideration, too.)
Or upgrade to the MSC Yacht Club for a more elevated experience from the rooms to its own dedicated pool and restaurant.
For us, it was worth the trip alone for our time on Ocean Cay, and the only way to get there is on an MSC ship. So we’ll figure out a way to get back there sometime soon.
Check out the two quick videos below for highlights of the ship itself, as well as an in-depth look at Ocean Cay.
Bon voyage, bitches!
