Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Let Them Hear Your Body Talk

As much as we hoped healthcare coverage would get easier and actually true to the name of the “Affordable” Care Act, it’s still a pain in the ass to get insurance.

And if you have an actual pain in the ass, how much will you have to pay even with insurance?

And what if that pain in the ass spreads to another part of the body that requires a specialist?

And will the prescriptions for said pains in the ass and other nether regions cost more than a month’s premium?

These thoughts give us so much anxiety because every year we enroll in a health insurance plan, we always wonder if we chose correctly. Other than making sure our doctors at Uptown Physicians Group will be part of the plan, we’re literally clueless as to what we need and don’t.

Last year we had a teensy smidge of cancer and our insurance covered ZERO.

Fortunately, there’s a new program through Prism Health North Texas called the Health Insurance Marketplace Navigator.

Call Prism Health North Texas by January 15 to enroll. Call 469-884-6801 for assistance.

Through a $2,775,000 grant, PHNTX was able to hire eight new ACA Enrollment Navigators to assist you with finding your plan for 2022 if you haven’t already. Open enrollment ends on January 15, so it’s now or (sorta) never.

We used them for our own healthcare plan and it was such an easy process. Simply fill out the form or call 469-884-6801 and they’ll get with you quickly. We filled out the online form and had a phone call within three minutes!

Coverage secured between now and January 15 will go into effect on February 1, 2022. The organization’s outreach includes Dallas, Collin, Cooke, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Henderson, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall Counties, so if you live in one of these places and are uninsured (or know someone who is), let Prism Health North Texas help.

It’s free, unlike pretty much anything in the healthcare world these days.
