You won’t see the big red N when you launch the latest from Netflix today.
But that’s OK, it’s all normal.
That’s because today, Netflix launches its first-ever LGBTQ+ podcast, The Gay Agenda.
Created, produced and by lesbian actress, singer/songwriter and podcaster, Jasmin Savoy Brown, the podcast also features producer and non-binary actor, comic and playwright Liv Hewson as her co-host.
In each episode, they interview queer movers, shakers, trailblazers, household names, up-and-coming personalities, and all-around important folks in the LGBTQ+ community with a focus on the funny and absurd parts of life as an “other” group in society.
The first season consists of eight 45-minute episodes and today’s debut sets the stage for the content to come while welcoming nonbinary actor Bex Taylor-Klaus.
Future guests include director, writer and actor Natalie Morales, actor Ally Beardsley, actor Javicia Leslie, comedian Caleb Hearon, author Maria Machado, actor Leo Sheng and one of our favorite talents: writer, comedian and actor Fortune Feimster.
