Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Fistful Of Happiness

Sometimes, Mondays require a little extra help.

In liquid form.

Today is one of those days. But don’t worry, we’ll be waiting until a respectable 10:30 a.m. or so before pouring ourselves a stiff one.

And who doesn’t love a mid-morning stiff one?

We were just sent a bottle of a relatively new whisky called Fistful Of Bourbon. Created by a woman named Kelsey McKechnie (whom we’ve actually met over drinks!), it’s one of the most easy-drinking whiskies we’ve ever had.

And we’ve had a lot.

Fistful Of Bourbon is special because it contains five different straight bourbon whiskies with diverse qualities mingling together for a nuanced, well-balanced blend. Each of the five whiskies gets aged in a different barrel that unleashes notes ranging from green, leafy and floral to soft spices and hints of nutmeg. You’ll taste something different as each drop rolls across your tongue.

And each of the whiskies is aged a minimum of two years for added depth and character.

It’s fantastic over an ice ball if you like a slow sipper. But if you want something that’s perfect for spring and summer (and so easy to drink you practically don’t need a glass), try out the Gold Rush.

Bourbon might just become your new drink of summer.
