Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Grandstanding, Grinning & Grinding.

May thoughts and prayers lead to action.  Let us reflect.

Grandstanding. As a result to the painfully tragic shooting here in my home state last week, I am following political leadership’s actions and reactions. I was particularly interested in the press conference held by our Governor soon after the melee where his offering of thoughts and prayers was intended to bring comfort in place of taking action on gun control. To my surprise, Demoncrat gubernatorial candidate, Beto O’Rourke, interrupted the press conference to take Brother Abbott to task for his proselytizing grandstanding. It was like Jesus storming the moneychangers in the Temple. I hate to go against God’s Own Party, but Brother Beto’s passion shows me that at least he stands for something. Alleluia.

Grinning. News from overseas tells us that there was an incident at the Louvre Museum in Paris. A man, disguised as an elderly woman (disgusting) in a wheelchair, requested the close proximity to art afforded to the handicapped. Particularly, he was moved to see Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa portrait. While admiring the famous Italian tramp (what is she grinning about anyway??), our disguised visitor produced a heretofore unseen pie and hurled it at the portrait with great force. Fortunately, the revered painting is safe under glass and merely required some French Windex. I don’t really care WHY this was done, but I am concerned about one thing. I have been to the Louvre and I am convinced that Sister Mona has an unparalleled press agent. There are countless signs showing the way to where she hangs. No other artwork gets such attention. So why in the world would ML need a bigger piece of the pie?? Mon Dieu!

Grinding. I have recently become aware of an app for the Eye Phone which is called Grinder. I am thrilled that this exists for those who use it. I found it on our Minister of Music’s phone and I have deduced that it is for people suffering from TMJ looking for oral support from others. Praise!
