Or if you need a more SFW headline: Your Bod On Sod.
This year’s event has a new home at Turtle Creek Park, which means a lot more shade than Klyde Warren (and not just the kind you’re throwing at your friend for wearing socks and sandals).
The DIFFA/Dallas fundraiser takes place Saturday, June 18 and all tickets include a picnic lunch and access to the open bar (woohoo!). VIP ticketholders have access to a shaded, cooled tent with its own lounge, so it’s definitely worth the upgrade if you’re the moist type in this hot Texas weather.
Purchase a space for four and you’re invited to decorate your 6-foot-by-6-foot picnic area for the chance at being awarded the DIFFA Diamond, which will be presented by the Queen, no less. (Details of what you can and can’t do at the park decorations-wise can be found here.)
Everyone’s encouraged to wear Regency Era-appropriate attire.
Or maybe just a top hat and booty shorts if it’s over 100 that day (but don’t tell anyone we suggested that).
