We can count on one hand the number of times we’ve been to a professional sporting event. And even on those rare occasions, we only went for the food and drinks.
(And maybe stare at a few hot players between bites and sips.)
So when we heard about the Arlington All-Star Craft Beer, Wine, and Cocktail Festival this Saturday at Globe Life Field in Arlington, we figured this was the perfect chance to see what this whole “baseball” fad is all about by drinking our way from home plate to the goal posts.
There are two sessions—one daytime, one nighttime—so we’d highly recommend the later timeslot to avoid heat stroke while drinking beer, wine and cocktails.
All ticketholders get access to the entire field (hello hookup-app photo ops!), more than 100 craft beer, wine and cocktail tastings, multiple live bands and a local vendor market.
Upgrade to VIP and get access an hour earlier when it’s less crowded, although they’re limiting capacity so it shouldn’t be overwhelming crowded in the first place.
If you’re like us and you want a baseball experience that has very little to do with baseball, this event has your name all over it.
