Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Shiny New Drag Queens

If you’re as bummed as we are about the All Stars All Winners season of RuPaul’s Drag Race being over (we won’t spoil who won if you still haven’t seen it, but damn are we happy with the outcome!)

Anyway, the best fix for the absence of a drag competition in your life is seeing one in person—close enough to smell the White Diamonds perfume and sweaty duct tape!

Tonight, the first of three preliminary rounds of the Miss Gay USofA Newcomer 2022 pageant gets underway before a the final night of competition this Thursday at the famous Rose Room upstairs at Station 4.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2020 and 2021 seasons were canceled, so this pageant will be a really big deal and the end of an extra-long reign by Alexxa Oasis (pictured above) who will be on-hand to entertain and crown a new winner.

The theme is Winter Wasteland (hopefully there’ll be snow to cool us off from all these high temps).

It’s going to be an incredible four nights of gender illusion and nonstop entertainment. And if you want to splurge on VIP and reserved seating, just send an email to dneumann@usofa.org for details.

We hope to see you there as we gather to support local queens who may one day be superstars themselves.
