Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Choose To Lose The Booze

Happy New Year!

And for some, Happy Dry January!

We’ve been cutting back on our own alcohol intake lately, which means we now only get sloppy twice a week instead of every night like we used to. (Baby steps!)

Plus, Dry January seems like an ideal bandwagon to jump on after all the other wagons we’ve fallen off.

During our previous sober sessions, we didn’t really miss alcohol much at all. Until dinnertime when a wine pairing would’ve made us immensely happy.

Now we have a premium, alcohol-free option thanks to Dallas-based Starla Alcohol Removed Wines.

Starla’s winemakers have crafted three types of wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Sparkling Rosé and a Red Blend. Each goes through the same fermentation and aging process of regular wine, but then they extract the alcohol. So you get many of the complex flavors of boozy wines without the hangover the next day.

To be sure, they don’t taste exactly like regular wine, but they’re among the closest alternatives we’ve ever tried.

The bubbly’s especially nice for feeling celebratory.

And the Red Blend and Sauvignon Blanc pair well with foods.

Best of all, each serving only contains between 5-20 calories so you don’t have to worry about ruining your other New Year’s fitness resolutions.

Cheers to being booze-free in 2023! (Or at least a little less boozy than 2022.)
