Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

You’ve Been Waiting For Toast, Haven’t You?

After two years off, Toast to Life returns in 2023 for the second year in a row. And that means it’s officially back, baby!

This year’s 1980s-themed event will compete for the Dallas LGBTQ community’s attention because it’s the same night as Turtle Creek Chorale’s Rhapsody fundraiser and benefit starring Patti Lupone.

But if you’re strategic about it, you can make both events fit into your schedule.

Arrive at Toast to Life right when it starts at 7:00, work your way around the food and drink stations for an hour then grab a ride share to the Dallas Arts District in time for Patti Lupone to take the stage at 8:30. Or attend the TCC concert then rush to Toast to Life for the closing hour of fun.

Of course, you may despise Patti Lupone and prefer to spend your entire night with the hot-and-sweet Michael Urie, who’s emceeing the evening’s festivities.

As always, there will be great music (’80s, of course!), open bar stations, plenty of food from local chefs, a silent auction and plenty of other entertaining surprises.

Toast to Life 2023 benefits Resource Center and all its vital programs and services for the Dallas LGBTQ community.

So break out your favorite 1980s attire (or full-on costume) and head to the Empire Room for at least a portion of your evening on Saturday, April 1.

It’s the Toast we’ve all been waiting for.
