Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Black & White & Noir All Over

The mystery!

The seduction!

The nonstop melodrama taking place in the most dimly lit, highly shadowed places in the known universe!

Film noir has always captivated our imagination like few other cinematic genres and the chance to see some classics on the big screen always gets our attention.

So this week’s multi-day Dallas Noir Fest and all its associated parties and events have us yearning for some quality time with a damsel in distress and as many private dicks as we can handle.

Whether shown in vivid technicolor or moody black and white, these films exude a definitive sense of intrigue with plenty of sexual tension.

The festival kicks off with a full weekend of iconic movies including Dial M for Murder, Point Blank, Strangers on a Train, Cape Fear, The Getaway, and The Maltese Falcon all at the newly opened Violet Crown in West Village.

You can purchase a movie pass that gets you into every screening for $50 or a festival pass for $150 that gets you into all the festival parties and events, too. Students with valid ID can get a student movie pass for only $25.

Consider your movie or festival pass the cheapest ride on a time machine ever.
