We like to think of it as fighting fire with fire.
We immediately thought we wouldn’t like something spicy when it’s already so hot outside, but the light lager’s mere hint of jalapeño gives it more depth of flavor and character than outright burn-your-tongue heat. A citrusy finish and tart notes of lime add to the mix to make this a perfect pool-or-patio pounder.
And you know what else? It’s really amazing if you add to a tall glass of ice and Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix. Less boozy than a vodka version, it also isn’t quite as heavy on the palate because the beer cuts the thick tomato juice a lot more.
