Summer may be unofficially over now that Labor Day has passed. But thankfully we have Pride in Dallas to look forward to next weekend.
Having two Pride events in a city in a deep-red state like Texas makes us very proud indeed.
The parade and all the supporting events may be several days away, but The Round-Up Saloon gets us in the spirit beginning this Sunday with the R.E.B.A. Rennaissance Party.
Because the only thing we like more than Pride events is a Pride event with Beyoncé thrown in for good measure.
The Round-Up Employee Benevolence Association’s Renaissance World Tour raffle drawing will finally take place at 11:00 p.m. (Fortunately, if you haven’t purchased your $10 raffle ticket yet, you can make up for lost time by purchasing several ahead during the evening.)
The prize includes two VIP tickets, plus transportation to AT&T Stadium to see Queen Bey in all her glory.
A Rennaissance World Tour costume contest rounds out the festivities.
And if you don’t win tickets, don’t worry. You still have all those Pride events to look forward to.
