Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

What To Wear To Dinner This Fat Tuesday

Well, here we are again: Another Mardi Gras is upon us.

(Or Galentine’s Day if you celebrate.)

Luckily, we don’t believe in giving things up for Lent so it’s just another excuse to be crazy and debaucherous among the 342 other days of the year we opt for shenanigans. (Note: We’re not counting the days off we need to recover from hangovers and orgy injuries.)

Tomorrow night, The Round-Up Saloon and Dance Hall hosts a Fat Tuesday Crawfish Boil as a thank-you to its loyal customers. The free event features mudbugs, all the classic sides and king cakes for dessert (watch out for that plastic baby!).

What a great way to pre-game for Ash Wednesday while looking ahead to spring.

The crawfish boil starts at 8:00 p.m., so come hungry and ready to get handsy with some freshwater crustaceans.

At 9:30, a Mardi Gras shopping cart parade promises to be wonderfully ridiculous.

And the evening concludes with the Totally Tuesday girls performing a Mardi Gras-themed drag show at 10:30 p.m.

Wear your finest gold, purple and green, plus plenty of beads.

And a mask if you want to be incognito while you stuff your face full of potatoes and corn cobs.
